Hazard Statements
- Adequate ventilation should be provided to avoid exceeding the exposure limits of these components. If used indoors, mechanical ventilation or exhaust should be provided during use and until foam is cured and vapor of the liquefied petroleum gas (hydrocarbon) is vented out of the building.
- Inhalation: MDI vapors may cause irritation of the mucous membranes of the nose, throat or trachea, which may cause chest discomfort, coughing and allergic asthma like sensitivity. Airborne overexposure well above the PEL may result additionally in eye irritation, headache, chemical bronchitis, asthma like findings or pulmonary edema. Inhaling liquefied petroleum gas (hydrocarbon) can cause lightheadedness, headaches or lethargy. Persons with cardiac arrhythmia may be at increased risk in severe exposure. Ingestion: May cause irritation of mucous membranes in the mouth and digestive tract. Skin contact: May result in localized irritation, reddening or swelling. Prolonged or repeated exposure may lead to sensitization and or dermatitis. Eye contact: May result in eye irritation and mild corneal opacity due to adhesive character.
Precautionary Statements
- The wearing of protective glasses is recommended. If prolonged or repeated skin contact is expected wear gloves as appropriate to prevent skin contact. Provide adequte ventilation in the workplace
