Hazard Statements

• CAN CAUSE BURNS ON CONTACT. Injuries eyes, skin and mucous membranes on contact. Harmful if swallowed; nausea, vomiting and burninging sensation of the mouth and throat may occur. No adverse health effects are expected with recommended use. Occasional clinical reports suggest a low potential for sensitization upon exaggerated exposure to sodium hypochlorite if skin damage (eg. irritation) occurs during exposure. However clinical tests conducted on intact skin with products containing sodium hypochlorite found no sensitization in the test subject.
• Although not expected, heart conditions or chronic respiratory problems such as asthma chronic bronchitis or obstructive lung disease may be aggravated by exposure to high concentrations of vapor or mist.

Precautionary Statements

• Wear safety glasses and gloves. The availability of an eye wash and shower is recommended in a manufacturing environment. Use general ventilation to minimize exposure to vapors. Avoid splashing, eye and skin contact and inhalation of vapor or mist. Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not mix with ammonia products.
